ES&L Bancorp, Inc. is the parent company of Elmira Savings & Loan, F.A., a
federally chartered thrift institution operating as a Community Bank. Founded in
1888, Elmira Savings & Loan, F.A. has two branches: our corporate headquarters in
Downtown Elmira, NY, and a cashless branch in Ithaca, NY. The Corporation, through
the Bank, is primarily engaged in the business of accepting deposits from the general
public and originating loans secured by residential real estate. The Bank also
engages in commercial real estate lending in its primary market area and, to a lesser
extent, consumer lending, and invests in government and federal agency obligations.
ES&L Subsidiaries
Brilie Corporation, d/b/a a ES&L Financial Services- located in
ES&L's main office in Downtown Elmira. ES&L Financial Services offers nontraditional,
non-insured investment products to Bank customers and the general public. It also
offers a wide variety of insurance products (life, health, etc.) as well as annuities
and mutual funds. ES&L Financial Services offers these products under an agency
relationship with Insurance companies and third party mutual fund providers.
ES&L Mortgage Corporation, d/b/a/ Cayuga Mortgage Company is a residential mortgage banking operation, specializing in the orgination of purchase money and construction first
mortgages. Cayuga Mortgage is located in Ithaca, NY and operates in the same suite of offices as the Bank's cashless deposit
office.
CITIWIDE Funding Company is a personal and business banking partnership between ES&L Mortgage
Corporation and Audrey Edelman & Associates Real Estate, the largest real estate agency in Tompkins County. Citiwide Funding, which
operates from offices within the Edelman Real Estate office, originates residential mortgages and merchant cash advance / business funding throughout Tompkins, Cortland and
Cayuga counties.
High Risk Account, LLC is a licensed and approved service provider offering credit card merchant services for all types of companies. They have an office in Horseheads, NY.
